From the Hollywood Hills to Energy Makeovers . . .
. . . . a little bit about how I got here.
A holistic nutritionist by trade, I've been on an incredible journey that all began with a personal desperation for health.
You see, I was once in your shoes - confused and desperate for relief from my own chronic health issues. Thyroid and metabolism issues, years of treating my body like garbage, drinking and eating cheap trash food, and a nice dose of vaccine injury led me to my first “mid-life” type crisis (except I was only 23).
Fast forward a few years, as a graduate of the University of California, Los Angeles I quickly found myself swept up into the heights of Hollywood. A dancer by passion my sorority friend talked me into auditioning for an agent and, well the rest was history. This career path wasn’t part of the plan but hey, beginner’s-luck-success dancing in national commercials and major studio motion pictures soon led to more serious roles acting, and hustling for the next big break.
But trust me, it wasn’t glamorous. My career had a horror story ending.
Cut back to the “crisis”— At 23 my health was suffering. I was in and out of primary care docs and emergency clinics for constant infections, seeking out specialists for my mystery pains and clinical depression. The modern medicine carousel spun me around until I was dizzy, offering up a smorgasbord of pills and treatments that only masked the symptoms but never offered me true solutions. Two years into this medical merry-go-round, I realized my rescue wouldn't come packaged in a pill bottle or prescribed by a doctor who saw me as another patient to tick off their list.
Meanwhile, the pressure of Hollywood was crushing me as my chronic fatigue, ulcers, panic attacks, horrible adult on-set acne, and depression dominated my life. No amount of drugs (I relied on cannabis to function), exclusive parties in the hills, and dating Don Draper wannabes could fill the void of a sick and broken body. I hit rock bottom, and after realizing no one was saving me I set out on my own mission to heal.
So, I did what any unstable twenty-something would do. I sold all my belongings and moved to Cusco, Peru (crazy, I know and I hope to share more of THAT story with you someday soon).
But you know what they say about hitting rock bottom (for a second time)? It can be the best place to start rebuilding. And rebuild I did - not with more drugs or extreme diets but with foundational metabolism and gut restoration (FYI- you can’t enjoy the health of one without the other). This comprehensive and individualized approach gave me something no pill, plant medicine, or fad diet had: real lasting relief.
Fast forward to today as a nutritional therapy practitioner, armed with new-found knowledge and first-hand experience, I help countless women escape burn-out and reclaim reliable energy by reviving their metabolism. Burnout is no joke and a very detrimental result of our modern “do more” quick-fix culture. But let me tell you, there is no bigger glow-up than achieving balanced moods, vibrant energy, and a symptom-free period. Yes, please!
Additionally, because of the knowledge and training I’ve acquired along the journey of reversing my chronic issues, I’ve also incorporated powerful gut healing protocols into my approach to be able to offer deeper support. With my G.I. Revival Roadmap, I help other women reverse their chronic digestive issues through total gut restoration so they can live peacefully in comfort knowing they are building lasting health for their best years ahead (pharma-free of course).
During my mission, over the span of an additional 8-ish years, I tried nearly everything in an attempt to get better. I studied Andean Shamanism and superfoods, I lived in the jungle eating nothing but rice praying that endless trips with Ayahuasca and plant medicine would give me all the answers (hint— it did not. Not even close). In my more grounded attempts, I tried nearly 10 different diets and protocols; some brought temporary relief but none were the magic bullet I sought. In my desperation, I even turned vegan for four years only to watch my health spiral further downhill. When I couldn’t imagine it getting any worse, by 2020, mold illness knocked on my door and, by 2023 Lyme disease had moved in too.
My journey may have been long and winding but every step led me here: equipped with the tools to help others find their unique path to healing. My aim is not just to get you relief from your discomfort, but also to uplift your overall quality of life, and safeguard it from the reliance on medication and dead-end doctor visits in your golden years. I'm here to put the power of your health back into your hands (and save you the Hollywood drama).

This whole “figuring out how to feel better stuff” can be extremely challenging. Navigating the endless sources of information, knowing what, when, and how to give your body what it needs can surely be daunting. Having someone walking the path alongside you can be the certainty you need while entering into a new level of health and living. Having someone there to troubleshoot the challenges, motivate and inspire positive change and hear you through your experience is by far the best thing about the 1:1 coaching experience. It also happens to be my favorite part!
Education
